New Square Chambers participates in Steptober for LandAid
Members of New Square Chambers, Laura Webster, Millie Rai, James Davies and Amy Berry, took part in Steptober to raise money to help support young people who are homeless. During the period of Oct 4 – Oct 18, the team collectively completed an impressive amount of over 500,000 steps, raising £260 for Land Aid.
LandAid brings the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future.
In London, the number of young people sleeping rough on the streets has risen by 47% since the start of the pandemic. Your donation will help ensure that young people are able to have hope for the future.

“While Steptober has left us with some quite sore feet, it has all been for the very deserving cause of ending youth homelessness in the UK. It was great to have been part of the Steptober fundraising effort this year. Over 300 teams took part. Hopefully there will be even more teams competing next year!”
