Terms & Conditions

Unless otherwise agreed between you and the barrister whom you are instructing, our members accept instructions on the basis of the  Standard Contractual Terms for the Supply of Legal Services by Barristers to Authorised Persons 2012 (Standard Terms). The Standard Terms apply to all instructions and briefs accepted from solicitors and other authorised person from 31 January 2013, both in respect of new matters and new instructions in matters in which the barrister has previously been instructed.

In an appropriate case, the barrister may be willing to act on alternative contractual terms, such as the COMBAR or CLLS terms.
