Overview
Following Chloe’s successful completion of Pupillage, she joined as a tenant in October 2024, and her practice has been thriving ever since.
Chloe is fast developing her expertise in a wide range of commercial chancery areas, including property, commercial, wills and trusts, company and insolvency work.
Chloe has been praised for her impressive advocacy skills, and is regularly in the County Court, achieving successful outcomes in a variety of possession, bankruptcy, injunction and interim application hearings. Chloe has also assisted as Junior Counsel in High Court property disputes, as well as appearing in the High Court for numerous winding-up petitions. Chloe is well adept at delivering desirable results, and has repeatedly done so in her cases by putting in the hard work and preparation hours necessary, no matter whether it is simply a directions or costs management hearing, or a more time-consuming trial.
Chloe has a particular interest in property law matters, and is keen to continue acting in a variety of possession matters, ranging from rent arrears to trespass and other more complex Housing Act routes. Chloe always strives to delve into the finer details of every matter to be able to provide grounded and nuanced advice in a range of residential and commercial property disputes, to be able to follow through with efficiently drafted documents and ultimately desirable results in Court.
Before coming to the Bar, Chloe previously worked a commercial property paralegal for Wedlake Bell LLP, and obtained a first-class degree in Law from Durham University.
Commercial Litigation
In the course of her tenancy and pupillage, Chloe has been instructed in her own right to provide advice and to settle pleadings for a variety of commercial disputes, and has extensive advocacy experience including successful appearances in small-claims commercial trials.
Chloe’s recent experience includes:
- Representing Southern Water Services in a small claims trial for unpaid water charges.
- Representing SBP Law in a small claims trial for unpaid solicitors’ fees.
- Drafting pleadings on behalf of a London University in a money claim.
- Advising on contractual disputes for the supply of goods.
- Drafting particulars for debt recovery claims.
- Advising a letting agency company and drafting pleadings in relation to a breach of contract claim.
- Pursuing and resisting set aside applications for debt claims.
- Drafting applications for default judgment.
- Assisting in a high value fraud claim involving Credit Suisse.
- Drafting a permission to appeal application.
Before coming to the Bar, Chloe worked for a private equity firm and also ran a small nail art business during her academic years. These experiences give Chloe a strong sense of commercial awareness and allow her to carry out her practice with a grounded understanding of day-to-day business realities.

Chloe accepts instructions across all areas of property law, whether residential or commercial, landlord and tenant or real property disputes.
Chloe has appeared in the County Court, and assisted as Junior Counsel in the High Court, for various property matters.

- Oral adjournment application in a High Court possession trial.
- Assisting as Junior Counsel in a local green space dispute.
Chloe has been keeping on top of the Renters’ Rights Act 2025 and the changes to Section 21 possession claims, and has prepared various materials on this topic, including an article and seminar. Chloe is particularly skilled at assisting on such matters, and is keen to help in these times of change.

Chloe regularly appears both in the County Court and the High Court for various insolvency applications. Her experience includes:

Trusts, Wills & Estates
Chloe has advised on will interpretation, recoverability and merits of applications.
Chloe has drafted pleadings in Inheritance Act claims and witness statements in support of appointment and substitution of personal representatives, as well as drafting claims to challenge the validity of wills.

- BPTC (Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice) with “Outstanding” top-grade at BPP University in 2021.
- First Class (Honours) Bachelor of Laws from Durham University, consistently ranking in the top 5% of the university.
