Nicholas Le Poidevin KC specialises in trusts and estates work, both contentious and advisory. Over half of his work comes from overseas, especially Bermuda and the Channel Islands, and he also appears in courts abroad. He is familiar with the trust laws of most of the offshore jurisdictions. A particular interest is the conflict of laws and the problems it causes in both trust and estate administration. “Nick is the technical guru for domestic and offshore trust disputes and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the courts” Legal500 UK Bar 2026.
Millie Rai’s practice has a particular focus on trusts, estates, and property disputes. She was named ‘Barrister of the Year’ at the Citywealth Future Leaders Awards 2025, recognising her as a rising star in private wealth disputes. Her cases often involve multiple jurisdictions and she has experience of offshore litigation in Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man, and the BVI.
