Jessica Powers returns to practice on 6th November

We are pleased to announce that Jessica Powers will be returning to practice on Monday 6 November, following her maternity leave. Jessica is available for instructions in various practice areas across Chambers, including commercial litigationcompany & partnership, and insolvency.

Her exceptional expertise has earned her recognition in the Legal 500 as a leading individual in restructuring/insolvency and commercial litigation. She is described as an “All-rounder, exceptionally bright and conscientious, very approachable, and highly recommended by all clients.” Additionally, Jessica is newly recognised in the Chambers & Partners UK Bar 2024 guide, where she is described as a “rising star” in the field of restructuring/insolvency. One of her clients praised her for being “technically very rigorous, very practical at finding solutions, and very well-versed in the law and its applications”, also noting her incredible analytical ability and persuasive advocacy skills.

Jessica’s contributions within our insolvency practice have played a crucial role in earning Chambers a nomination for ‘Insolvency & Restructuring Chambers of the Year’ at the upcoming Turnaround Restructuring and Insolvency (TRI) Awards 2023.

In addition, earlier this year, Jessica Powers was named a finalist in the ‘Rising Star in Diversity Change’ category at the Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) UK Awards 2023. She is also shortlisted for the upcoming Chambers UK Bar Awards in the ‘Diversity & Inclusion: Future Leader’ category.

We look forward to welcoming Jessica back to Chambers.
