Freeze, Seize, Pleas: Tackling Fraudsters Across Borders

When fraudsters move fast, litigators need sharper tools. This session explores how freezing injunctions, search and seizure orders, and contempt proceedings can be deployed together to track, restrain and pressure bad actors across jurisdictions, drawing on real cases and frontline experience.
Jurisdiction Shopping in International Fraud Disputes

This seminar lifts the lid on forum disputes in international fraud cases, focusing on the interplay between insolvency and trusts. It explores when courts may have jurisdiction to wind up foreign companies, and how governing law considerations can significantly impact asset recovery strategies.
The Evolving Role of Trust and Public Policy in Enforcing Foreign Judgments and Awards During a Period of Global Volatility and Transformation

This session explores the Protection of Trading Interests Act 1980 and its impact on enforcing foreign judgments involving multiple damages. It also examines how public policy considerations continue to shape the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards in England and Wales, including in light of recent Court of Appeal authority.
Cross-Border Insolvency & Litigation in Practice: Strategies and Reflections from London, China and Singapore

The session concludes with a networking drinks reception.
