NSC ascend at the English Bar Offshore in the Legal 500 Caribbean guide 2024
The Legal 500 has just unveiled its 2024 Caribbean guide, and we are thrilled to announce that New Square Chambers has once again earned well-deserved recognition in the latest guide. In conjunction with our recognition at the UK Bar, this year has been marked by exceptional achievements for our set.
New Square Chambers has been lauded as a set with “multiple talents” and commended for its exceptional organisation and coordination. The latest ‘English Bar Offshore’ rankings affirm our position as a leading set. Notably, this year, we have achieved a set ranking, and four of our barristers have been recognised in Tier 1.
Our notable achievements in this year’s rankings encompass:
- New Square Chambers ascends to Tier 3
- Lynton Tucker advances to Tier 1
- Nicholas Le Poidevin KC, Mark Hubbard, and Simon Adamyk maintain their esteemed Top Tier rankings.
We take immense pride in our offshore practice recognition in the Legal 500’s Caribbean Guide for the upcoming year. We extend our warmest congratulations to all our members for their outstanding achievements. In particular, the top-tier rankings of our members in this area underscore the depth and breadth of our expertise at New Square. As one testimonial states, “The set has multiple talent. I was referred to another counsel in the set on a BVI minority oppression dispute. I would use this set for this new case if it fights. Well organised and coordinated chambers.”
New Square Chambers is highly-respected in the offshore arena for its work representing institutional and corporate clients, alongside ultra-high net worth individuals, on a vast range of instructions covering commercial, company and property law. Head of Chambers Nicholas Le Poidevin KC maintains his strong offshore practice centred on contentious trusts, wills and estates. Simon Adamyk is instructed in a high value unfair prejudice claim, a breach of warranty claim and a fraudulent misrepresentation claim relating to a BVI joint venture company seeking to enforce an arbitration award worth nearly $11bn. Senior junior and respected offshore practitioner Lynton Tucker is known for his extensive offshore trusts experience, principally in the Channel Islands, the Cayman Islands, and the BVI.
“The set has improved greatly over the past few years, bolstering strength at all levels.”
New Square Chambers is thrilled to announce an upcoming offshore webinar series, with its first instalment launching this December. Stay tuned for further details to follow shortly.
