Court orders will-writers to join mediation of probate / rectification claim: Ivey v Lythgoe [2025] EWHC 2325 (Ch)
The High Court has ordered a company of will-writers to attend a mediation of a probate and rectification dispute arising from two wills it was alleged to have drafted.
The Court also ordered that negligence proceedings against the will-writers be consolidated with the probate / rectification claim, but declined to join the will-writers to that claim as a costs-only party.
