Hudson v Hathway in the Court of Appeal

The Court of Appeal has now handed down its decision in Hudson v Hathway [2022] EWCA Civ 1648 addressing detrimental reliance in family home disputes. The court also raised and addressed the degree of formality with which an unwitting co-habitee can transfer their interest in their home with the potential for wide ranging impact beyond co-habitation claims.
