September 24, 2025, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Join Adrian Pay and Hermione Williams as they deliver the first webinar from our new series. Brought to you from the expertise of our CommercialCompany and Insolvency practice.

A new term begins…! This toolkit for unfair prejudice petitions takes its audience from pre-action to trial, as well as covering the remedies that are available in such cases. It is intended to provide a roadmap for putting together a strong petition.

This webinar will consider:

  • Back to basics: what is an unfair prejudice petition and who can bring one
  • What are the available remedies and against whom can orders be made
  • Drafting tips and strategic considerations when preparing proceedings
  • Evidence gathering
  • Preparation for and attendance at trial

Adrian is a tenacious chancery litigator who excels in the exhaustive preparation and clear presentation of complex cases. Adrian’s practice covers all aspects of modern chancery, including commercial fraud, company and insolvency and contractual disputes. He has particular expertise in shareholder remedies.

Hermione has a multifaceted chancery commercial practice both domestic and offshore. She was called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2008 and in 2014 she was admitted as a Barrister in the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court of the Territory of the Virgin Islands. Her areas of practice comprise commercial litigation, trusts and estates, company, insolvency and property law. In circumstances where few cases fall neatly into one category, clients find her experience across a broad range of areas, combined with her time offshore, invaluable from a strategic, practical as well as legal perspective.
