Chambers are ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ award finalists at LexisNexis Legal Awards 2023

New Square Chambers are shortlisted as finalists in the ‘Diversity & Inclusion’ category of the LexisNexis Legal Awards 2023. The awards were launched in 2013 to recognise and celebrate excellence and innovation across the legal sector.

The shortlist announcement comes on the back of Jessica Powers’ recognition as a finalist in the ‘Rising Star in Diversity Change’ category at the Women, Influence & Power in Law UK Awards 2023 (LAW.COM International).

We are grateful to be recognised and are particularly proud of Chambers’ efforts to drive change and improvement in diversity and inclusion within recruitment and retention at New Square Chambers, and the commercial chancery Bar as a whole. Our focus on these diversity and inclusion initiatives have continued to flourish, which has led to Chambers’ recognition over the years. New Square Chambers were nominated for diversity and inclusion related awards at the TRI Awards and UK Diversity Legal Awards in 2021, and at the Lord Mayor’s Dragon Awards in 2022.

The winners will be announced at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on Thursday 23 March 2023.
