Overview
Alessio joined Chambers as a pupil in April 2025. He is completing seats in company and insolvency, property, and trusts and estates.
Prior to pupillage, Alessio spent c. 2 years working as a County Court Advocate, acting in bankruptcy petitions, mortgage possession hearings, landlord and tenant disputes, small claim trials, and a wide range of interim applications. He was often praised by Judges for his courteous manner and his staunch defence of clients.
Alessio holds an undergraduate degree in English and Russian from the University of Bologna, where he obtained a grade of 110/110 cum laude. During his studies, he received scholarships to Russia (where he spent six months finessing his language skills) and the United States (where he taught languages both at university level and in a primary school).
Alessio feels passionate about community work and access to justice, having previously volunteered as a school governor and as a legal caseworker.
